The lifejacket is equipped with a fleece collar for extra comfort. Thanks to a smaller lung than other inflatable lifejackets, this is the lightest vest on the market. Equipped with inspection window, the valve's green indicators show that the lifejacket is charged and ready for use. Available in a wide variety of colours. A lifejacket saves lives. It is designed to always turn the user to a supine position and keep the airways clear above the water surface by a good margin, even if the user is unconsciousness or cannot swim. Lifejackets are available with inflatable lung or with solid buoyant material, common to all is that in the activated position they have most of the buoyancy on the front and a sturdy collar that supports and holds up the head. A lifejacket is the obvious choice for people who cannot swim. Lifejackets always have a carrying capacity of at least 100N. The inflatable models are divided into different classes depending on the conditions under which they are to be used. An automatic lifejacket inflates when the user ends up in the water, while a manual lifejacket must be activated by the user.

The buoyancy of a lifejacket is measured in the Newton unit. A lifejacket must have sufficient buoyancy to keep the user's airways above the surface. The vests are divided into different classes depending on the amount of buoyancy, though the actual Newton's number may vary depending on the size of the vest.

Maintenance Advice
- It is important that the lifejacket is stored in a dry, well-ventilated space. If the lifejacket is wet or damp, and it is fitted with an automatic firing capsule, it is advisable to remove the capsule until the lifejacket is completely dry. Prolonged dampness to the lifejacket may result in automatic firing. To avoid inflation, do not submerge the lifejacket in water, unless the lifejacket has been used, or the firing capsule has been removed.
- Regularly rinse the lifejacket in fresh water, particularly if it has been in contact with salt water. If you have an automatic inflatable lifejacket, make sure you remove the firing capsule first. After cleaning, ensure you always replace the firing capsule.
- Dry and store in a well ventilated space away from direct sunlight.
- Do not use a cushion.
- Oil and similar marks should be removed by washing with warm soapy water or a mild detergent. Do not use chlorine or any other strong chemicals.
- Always carry out a yearly service on your inflatable lifejacket to ensure that the lifejacket functions correctly. It can only help save your life if the lifejacket is in good working order.- Om flytvästen är skitig, tvätta den med ljummet vatten, milt tvättmedel och gnugga mycket försiktigt. Använd inte klor eller andra starka kemikalier.
- Om du behöver skölja av hela flytvästen och den har automatisk utlösning, skruva först bort utlösaren. OBS! Utlösaren måste alltid skruvas tillbaka på ett korrekt sätt när du är klar.
- Häng flytvästen på tork i ett ventilerat utrymme undan från direkt solljus.
- Använd ej som kudde eller sittunderlag.
- Förvara i ett torrt och ventilerat utrymme.
- Genomför den årliga servicen på dina uppblåsbara flytvästar. Vid service kontrolleras flytvästens funktion och säkerställer att den är redo att rädda ditt liv.
